I am scrambling here to get some creating in this weekend! I was dying to get two new images colored and complete SOMETHING, ANYTHING! So here are the results…

This first image ans layout are another fun Michelle Perkett image. They complete the challenge on her blog. I love this mother, daughter image and I know I will be using it for a card 🙂

This next card is made with an image by Tammy Thompson she is the designer and owner of A Day for Daisies. She creates beautiful whimsical images and is so much fun! This card fulfills a challenge over at iCopic who’s color challenge this week is lime, green and blue. Tammy’s peacock fairy fit the bill perfectly. I can’t take credit for the hand stitching on this, the paper is from a collection by Prima and between the image and the paper the card is just that simple.

The family is well! I taught another doodling class live yesterday here locally this time. It went very well and the 15 ladies all walked away with smiles on their faces. We hosted our small group for dinner last night which was 20 total bodies in our home for burgers and dogs. It was a very nice evening! Today was quieter with church, lunch at KFC and naps all around 🙂 A little creative time for the girls, exercise for Dad and a well rounded day indeed!

Hope your week treats you all well.
Hugs!

Color, color, color! Yes I am having fun. Two challenges this week and they had different colors so I had to do two! Oh no! Not more coloring! Both images above are from Michelle Perkett. The above image is for her blog challenge we were going green this week so I added her Goldilocks image to a layout. The layout is incomplete as the photos of my leprechauns are on order. The below card is for the iCopic weekly color challenge. This week we were assigned pink, orange, and purple.

I’ll be back later this week for a family update, we are busy with my Mom and Dad. We had a grand adventure today looking at fossils in a washed out gorge! Yes here in Iowa, so cool!

In the mean time hugs all!

New week ahead. The Houghton Grandparents are along for the ride for one more day then we send them home and the Weaver Grandparents will be here Thursday. We went to the Omaha zoo yesterday and had a perfect day despite the cooler temperatures. The animals captivated us for quite a while and so many of the displays are in indoor facilities it was just perfect.

Today was a few errands and some lazy play time around the house.

The image this week is from a Sassy Lil Sketch and the copic image is colored with the following colors: E11, E13,E25, E27, E29, E95, YR15, YR18, YG93, YG95, YG97, YG99, BG72, BG75. This one is a digital stamp from Bugaboo stamps.

Hello Hello! Yes I have been busy coloring! I am having fun with my markers. I was getting my February One Month At a Time for February. In the meantime I found a couple more Michelle Perkett images that I “needed”. He He! So I combined the two and added some ribbon and lace for another challenge over at the Michelle Perkett challenge blog. It is so much fun to find new communities of crafters that enjoy some of the same things I do.

Here is a close up of the copic coloring and colors I used. I also colored the ribbon, lace, and straight pins, so they would match perfectly.

This weekend the Houghton Grandparents are in town and we are going to have a grand time. Possibly a zoo trip and lots of hugs and laughs. The weather looks like it might cooperate for some time outside over the next few days so we will take full advantage.

Hugs all!

Well our Club Copic got canceled last night Boo! So I colored instead, Yeah! And then it snowed, REALLY?!!! Yeah more snow for us, you know the really messy slushy kind, the too late in the season kind. It’s a mess, but here we are. Spring break is upon us in two more days and Grandparents galore, we are ready!

The above image is for the latest color challenge over at iCopic. The image is from an amazing digital stamp artist Michelle Perkett. I tried to include the colors I used on the strip below so I hope you can see them if you are interested. The hair was the odd combo, everything else is pretty standard. I saw some examples that were just amazing in the detail in the hair and was inspired. Now mine does not do it justice BUT I do like how the color turned out. It is a combination I will use again.

Today is early release, conferences and Lori has dance so I better scoot!

Hugs!
