Below is a list of tutorials that I have written on this site, as well as those that I have published on other sites. In the event that you use these tutorials and the original artwork that accompanies them, in a project that you post, publish or share, credit is always appreciated.
I just left Copics College class. Husband asked how I felt. It reminded me of crash studying back in college. Would I discourage people from attending if they are concerned about the intensity. Absolutely not! The wealth of information & the accompanying book will benefit my continued learning at home. And, I will eagerly take Michelle’s Copic College again!
Great weekend at Copic College at the Paper Forest in Washington, IL! Lots of information and lots of practice. No pressure, relaxed atmosphere with others who love Copics. This will definitely help me as I continue to use my markers! It’s already on my calendar for next year.
Hi I just purchased some Copic markers. I am going to use it for mixed media artwork. I understand it has no UV protection. Can you recommend a way to treat it or a coating to make it more colorfast or archival?
For UV protection there is no great solution. To my understanding there is a Krylon fixative that has some UV protection you can finish work with and there is glass that also can add some UV protection if you are framing. I know other artists display prints and have originals tucked away. Hope that helps. Have fun with the Copics! I have loved using mine with mixed media!!
Really enjoyed the Copic College class this week-end. I always learn some thing new from you. Your the bomb!
