Purple and Feathers

Two more amazing articles over at Get It Scrapped.  If you have not stopped by there recently you really should!  Daily inspiration coming through and  Debbie is showcasing some AMAZING scrapbooking!

Here are the two articles I shared art work for at the end of this past week:

Using purple in your layouts – I used an extensive amount but the range of uses is beautiful and well worth taking a peek at!

And the second article is about using feathers in your layouts.  You really must see this one!  I LOVE how Doris Sander used feathers they found on a walk in a layout about her son!  Here is my layout:

Hope you check out the full articles.  Just click on the photos for direct links.

Repoussoir and Small Embellishments

Two more layouts in articles over at Get It Scrapped

One is based on an art technique called repoussoir it is a way of weighting your art work and moving the viewers eye across your page.  Here is my contribution.  Mom I really did change the photo credit to you but it credits dad is given credit in the article.  So everyone my Mom took the gorgeous photo of John and I!

The next layout is for an article on small embellishments.  It is a layout I did a few years back and love!

I am loving all the challenges and being part of the amazing Creative Team at Get It Scrapped!
