Yeah for scrappy weekends! So the plans almost fell apart when John got sick Friday, really sick and spent the entire day sleeping and emptying his stomach. BUT being the AMAZING husband he is and having the two very best girls in the world i still got to go to half of my all day crop. Saturday I took the girls to the pool, Sara diving and Lori swimming we stopped at McDonalds on the way home and then I loaded up and headed to scrapping at about 2. In about 7 and a half hours I finished 16b pages! Woo Hoo! And going back through them I really like them too! I even had a 17th page in the works when I packed up so i finished that one yesterday, here it is…

I cut the trees out of a patterned piece of paper which took just a second or two, needless to say my friends wondered why I started this one with about 20 minutes to go… no good answer there but it is done now! 🙂
This next one is just a favorite, love how it turned out.

We kept Sunday pretty low key with everyone napping after church and lunch out. And today we were all back to our regularly scheduled programs. John is feeling 100% and girls are getting excited for the upcoming month and warmer weather!

Next couple of posts I will share a sneek peek at a canvas project I have been working on and a couple more layouts.

Hugs all!

So this week has been a little hectic again with extra to-dos and meetings so I realized I was a little off posting here. I just completed this layout last week for a new tutorial over at Get It Scrapped. I think it turned out pretty cute!
This Saturday I am off to a crop so I will have lots of fun pages to share I am sure. Hopefully complete a few challenges as well.
Girls are early release today so I am off to get them!

Hugs to all.

Yikes! Did you forget to make a Valentine card? OK so I am teasing but I have a new post over at That Scrappy Girl about just that with lots of fun easy peasy card ideas. Here is one of the cards…

I also have a wonderful friend hosting a yummy blog giveaway that is if you are a scrapper. Amy is giving away a couple months of a subscription to Masterful Scrapbook Design. You gotta check it out! Click here to enter at Amy’s Blog.

Tomorrow is Valentines parties at school (I am hosting at Sara’s room again, making Valentine pirate hats) Then no school on Friday and I leave Friday evening for Lincoln to teach doodling on Saturday. Our YMCA has a Cycle Challenge on Sunday which I helped put together and then John and I are even going out on a date night with another couple! Woosh that is a lot! But a lot of fun!

Happy weekend all!

I have to say I love how these layouts turned out! I found the monkey paper and had to have it then wasn’t sure what to o with it. Had the sketches from Sassy Lil Sketches and was not sure what to do with them but it all came together. Always fun to make messes with spray ink as well he he.
The next few weeks are a little crazy so I am not sure on completeing challenges but I always seen to squeeze in a few minutes here and there. Next weekend I am teaching in Lincoln, Nebraska woo hoo and I have my local Copic group this coming week. I am helping in Sara’s room this week and next so I am at a dead run these days but hanging on so far.
Girls are great they played on top of our 6 foot mountain the other day. Yes we got hit HARD with the snow. Praying for better weather next weekend for sure!

Happy Friday all!

Happy Ground Hog Day! Little hard to believe the groundhog did not see his shadow this morning as we are sitting in very deep snow. Our driveway in fact had a 4 foot drift across the whole width. That is no exaggeration, I shoveled through it I know! In the meantime I am still trying to get a few crafty items completed so here are a few more Valentine cards to show a little love and to complete this week’s challenge at iCopic. I have two layouts in partial put together mode littering my desk but got to play with the furnace people for several hours yesterday instead of completing them grrr…. The girls are upstairs since it is a snow day here and they are bandaging their MANY injured stuffed friends. You should hear some of these injuries! These friends are in BAD shape!! Good thing the girls are on top of it and taking care of them. Well I best close here so I can get my Club Copic Tutorial done and a quick write up for GIS too.

Happy Wednesday all.
Hugs!
