How about a little art?

I shared a vacation journal on Instagram and thought I would post a few of the photos here as well since some of the pages are featuring some wonderful new Imagination International Inc. products, and since several of my friends don’t follow me on Instagram. Check these out:

I have not done pencil drawing in FOREVER and this felt so good to get back to some of my artistic roots. I was inspired by the landscape of Alaska and had these fun new lead pencils by Nobby. They are crazy fat lead in beautiful metal holders. I am loving working with them and they are so easy to travel with.

I also want to share one of the other Kirarina products that you can find at Imagination International Inc. These are the 2win that have a dual tip, one for writing and one with a chisel tip, I am loving them for my dsayplanner! I can write and highlight all sorts of the craziness in my daily life.

Color Pages Yay!

Whoops! I tight I had this scheduled for Wednesday and it did not go.  Sorry, here is my “first post” featuring some fun new things from Imagination International Inc.

Have you seen the new trend out there of adult color books? It is the hot new thing and taking the art world by craze and anyone who has loved coloring at ANY time in there life is soon to be coloring again! There are color books and pages all over the web and in craft, art and hobby stores everywhere.

Lucky for me even Imagination International Inc. has color pages available in their on-line image store.  And since these are digital images I can print them on any paper I want and as many times as I want. Lori my 11 year old is eyeballing them already I think we might be doing some coloring together in the very near future!

Here is a page that I printed onto my X-Press It Blending Card and started coloring.

color page 1

This is only one small corner, it took me about 30 minutes to fill this smaller section. with one or two colors in sections.

color page 2

I have not finished the page yet, but could easily get sucked in!  Crazy fun and feels so good just to fall into the coloring.  But I also wanted to try one more new thing that Imagination International Inc. is carrying in there quickly expanding store! Kirarina Wink markers.

color page 3

The photos do not do them justice but these markers have a beautiful shimmer to them.  The Wink markers are also opaque which means I can color over other colors! And Kirarina Wink comes in white so Yay Yay Yay I have another beautiful opaque marker and I love it!  I will be featuring it tomorrow so check back.

In the mean time check in over at Imagination International Inc. to se all the amazing new happenings.

Have a happy colorful day!

Kirarina Wink

So yesterday I shared a fun new product from Imagination International Inc. The Kirarina Wink markers. I also shared that I have fallen in love with the white marker in particular.  If you have been following me for a while or if you are familiar with my art you might know that I am a doodler. I heart doodling on all kinds of paper and surfaces and in all of my art mediums. One of the things though that is hard to find is truly opaque white markers to doodle with.

New found love the Kirarina Wink white marker! Here is a card that features this wonderful opaque white ink.

Kirarina 1

First I printed and colored my image onto my very FAVORITE white cardstock, X-Press It Blending Card. It is bright white and crazy smooth. I also have found it to have the least amount of bleeding over other yardsticks that I have tried. (The image if you are wondering is one of my own creation, if you are really nice and leave me some on this post love I might even send you a JPG of him :-))

kirarina 2

Next I adhered all my pieces together using the new X-Press Glue Marker and Pen.  The fine tip pen is great for tiny areas and the broader stroke marker is affective in larger areas.

Then a little doodle, doodle, doodle and Hello my friend!  Look at that bright white on top of the dark brown cardstock and pink. This is with one pass only so color me impressed.  I have tried A LOT of white markers and this one is a keeper for certain! Hooray for Kirarina Wink!

Next week I will have a couple more posts with new art products from Imagination International Inc. More fun with coloring and mark making. In the mean time Friday will have a link to my photo tutorial from Copic In the Craft Room.

Have a happy colorful day!
