Well it is up and ready to go! My new class Copic Coloring #1 is up and on sale for the first few days!

I am so excited to be showing off such amazing art work by three very talented digital artists and thrilled to be sharing 8 new images of my own. If you would like to check out more of the 3 guest artists work check out my latest article and you can find links to all three!

On the family front we are finally winding down. The much needed break of NO evening activities for two whole weeks! Recital is done. And the sun is shining for the moment! We are getting ready for a couple short trips and one grand adventure to Oregon this summer and lots of time at the pool for swim team and diving. Not to mention morning daycamps and fun.

So where have I been is what you would like to know… I have been writing and creating up a storm! I am nearing completion on my next class for Get It Scrapped called Copic Coloring. It is a class made up of 10 lessons, with 1o+ images for you to color along with me on! One of the exciting things to me on this class is I have 3 amazing artists sharing their art work with the whole class as well! Michelle Perkett of Michelle Perkett Design Studio, Tammy Thompson of A Day For Dasies and Christy Croll of Tiddly Inks have all donated digital stamps for the class to color! I am so excited to share their art work and lots of my own as well! Any way thought I would give you a quick sneak peek at some of the results 🙂

On a much more personal note. Happy Birthday to the man in the top sneak! Happy B-Day John, hope you have a not too crazy day at work. I am so glad you are my partner in life! I am expecting you to have a whole heck of a lot more of these birthdays! I love you!

Hugs all and happy coloring and scrapping!

Copic Craze Workshop (Self-Paced)

Copic markers have been around for a while, but they are recently popular with stampers, card makers, scrapbookers, scientific illustrators, manga artists, and many others.

The effects you can achieve with Copic markers are amazing. With any artistic tool, however, comes a need for instruction and guidance in order to move up and past the learning curve they present. If you want  to get started on the right foot and know how to choose, buy and use these wonderful markers join me for Copic Craze!

This 6-lesson class is jam packed with the facts and the fun of Copic Markers:

  • Lesson one starts with all the facts about the markers themselves, teaching you about what makes them different and exciting.
  • Lesson two and three explore how to start shading–not how to shade with your markers but how to understand the shading objects to make them look 3 dimensional in any drawing situation.
  • Lesson four looks at the colorless blender: Wait until you see what this one marker can do!
  • Lesson five has us going step-by-step through five intermediate/advanced images.
  • To finish up lesson six takes a look at all the other surfaces Copic Markers are great for.

Along the way, I’ll provide you with (9) original images for you to color along side me.
