I am scrambling here to get some creating in this weekend! I was dying to get two new images colored and complete SOMETHING, ANYTHING! So here are the results…

This first image ans layout are another fun Michelle Perkett image. They complete the challenge on her blog. I love this mother, daughter image and I know I will be using it for a card 🙂

This next card is made with an image by Tammy Thompson she is the designer and owner of A Day for Daisies. She creates beautiful whimsical images and is so much fun! This card fulfills a challenge over at iCopic who’s color challenge this week is lime, green and blue. Tammy’s peacock fairy fit the bill perfectly. I can’t take credit for the hand stitching on this, the paper is from a collection by Prima and between the image and the paper the card is just that simple.

The family is well! I taught another doodling class live yesterday here locally this time. It went very well and the 15 ladies all walked away with smiles on their faces. We hosted our small group for dinner last night which was 20 total bodies in our home for burgers and dogs. It was a very nice evening! Today was quieter with church, lunch at KFC and naps all around 🙂 A little creative time for the girls, exercise for Dad and a well rounded day indeed!

Hope your week treats you all well.
Hugs!

Color, color, color! Yes I am having fun. Two challenges this week and they had different colors so I had to do two! Oh no! Not more coloring! Both images above are from Michelle Perkett. The above image is for her blog challenge we were going green this week so I added her Goldilocks image to a layout. The layout is incomplete as the photos of my leprechauns are on order. The below card is for the iCopic weekly color challenge. This week we were assigned pink, orange, and purple.

I’ll be back later this week for a family update, we are busy with my Mom and Dad. We had a grand adventure today looking at fossils in a washed out gorge! Yes here in Iowa, so cool!

In the mean time hugs all!

Had to sneak this one in at the end of the week. This little card fulfills this week’s challenge over at iCopic. The colors for the challenge were lime, green and cream. This little birdie was a free stamp over at Paper Smooches. Sorry lots of links today. Just sharing some love. I just loved this little birdie so sweet. The papers are from a brand new line by October Afternoon and then the birdie is of course colored with Copic markers. As a side note up until now I have been keeping my blog primarily as an update for family and friends with no details on the how too of images or supply lists for projects. I am thinking about adding a little more of that. So if you are family you can skip over that and if you are a scrapper/Copic fan you can skip the blah blah blah of my day to day living. I might even try to keep them separate in the posts. Just an FYI for you all. Thinking aloud as I write this.

Yikes! Did you forget to make a Valentine card? OK so I am teasing but I have a new post over at That Scrappy Girl about just that with lots of fun easy peasy card ideas. Here is one of the cards…

I also have a wonderful friend hosting a yummy blog giveaway that is if you are a scrapper. Amy is giving away a couple months of a subscription to Masterful Scrapbook Design. You gotta check it out! Click here to enter at Amy’s Blog.

Tomorrow is Valentines parties at school (I am hosting at Sara’s room again, making Valentine pirate hats) Then no school on Friday and I leave Friday evening for Lincoln to teach doodling on Saturday. Our YMCA has a Cycle Challenge on Sunday which I helped put together and then John and I are even going out on a date night with another couple! Woosh that is a lot! But a lot of fun!

Happy weekend all!

Happy Ground Hog Day! Little hard to believe the groundhog did not see his shadow this morning as we are sitting in very deep snow. Our driveway in fact had a 4 foot drift across the whole width. That is no exaggeration, I shoveled through it I know! In the meantime I am still trying to get a few crafty items completed so here are a few more Valentine cards to show a little love and to complete this week’s challenge at iCopic. I have two layouts in partial put together mode littering my desk but got to play with the furnace people for several hours yesterday instead of completing them grrr…. The girls are upstairs since it is a snow day here and they are bandaging their MANY injured stuffed friends. You should hear some of these injuries! These friends are in BAD shape!! Good thing the girls are on top of it and taking care of them. Well I best close here so I can get my Club Copic Tutorial done and a quick write up for GIS too.

Happy Wednesday all.
Hugs!
