Today’s photo tutorial turned out too stinking cute. I’ll be honest I was not sure about the image I picked for the tutorial, I love the image but was not sure how well it would work for the camouflage and by the end it is just perfect. Can anyone guess my inspiration? He He

This afternoon I am off to Ottawa Canada! I will be teaching the 3 workshop classes there, I can’t wait to meet my next group of Copic color friends!
Monday I posted the next video in the Mixed Media Mini album series. If all goes well I will be able to assemble my book in about 2-3 months 🙂 Always odd when you do one small piece once a month.
This month’s segment was all about fabric. I love these techniques and wait till you see what I do with all the fabric pieces and scraps!
I just realized that I lost a week. I was doing so well and then, poof, got out of sync and lost a week of posts. So here is a minor catch up for the weekend and then off to a fresh start. Isn’t it wonderful that we can keep doing that over and over again on our blogs!

On the home front we are starting to add back in the girls activities on top of school. I just returned from Houston and will be traveling to Canada next weekend. It is hot here in the midwest where it is shooting some more traditional summer temperatures at us here in the last few moments of summer. Our family is taking full advantage of a slower paced three day weekend and loving life in general.

You can also go directly to Imagination International Inc. to get all the nitty gritty. There are only 2 classes at this point that have not opened up for registration so all of us are busy busy!
On the home front things are busy as well, both girls are back at the books hitting the halls for 5th and 7th grade this year!
I managed to get a shot of Lori by her locker and Sara jumping out of the car. They both were ready to see friends and share news from the summer. Sara was dreading homework and Lori was excited to get going. I am praying for great years for both of them 🙂
And today I officially have a teenager in the house! YEP we hit 13 today! Happy Happy Birthday to my Sara!
