My Manatees!

Hi friends and family! Bringing you a little D2BA inspiration to start your week off right.

Were you kids or young people in your life ever into Vegi tales? I look at these adorable Manatees stamps and in my head I am humming the Manatees song Larry Boy used to sing “You are my manatees, manatees –  you are the one for me one for me…” Yep I am that silly on occasion! But these stamps are too dang cute!

I colored mine up with Copic:

Copic used: BG90, BG93, BG96, YR02, YR04, YR09, R05, R08, R29

Then I went super simple adding strips of D2BA patterned paper including the end tab of gold fish which I ❤️!

This one is ready to ship off to a friend who just needs a happy hello!

New Goodies at Dare 2B Artzy!

Dare 2B Artzy Lovebirds Part 2

Hello friends, earlier this month I shared a card using the new “Lovebirds” stamp set for Dare 2B Artzy, I was having so much fun coloring them however that I decided to create a second pair and a second card.

I still colored up my birds with Copic:

I kept the color palette pretty simple with yellows and blues and this time I added a sentiment and colored the sky around the two lovebirds.

Then I added them to a card base along with a couple beautiful D2BA patterned papers:

D2BA Male Birthday Cards

Hey Hey it is a new month and a new challenge at Dare 2B Artzy! This month the name of the game is Male Birthday cards. Hope you have a chance to play along. All you need to do is share your creation on the D2BA blog!

I kept mine pretty neutral so it can be used for a Birthday or just a happy day and male or female alike. I used a lot of Copic Colorless Blender and misted the paper which is a smooth white cardstock, soaking it first, then dripping Copic Various Ink refills for the background.

Then I stamped the frame from the Best Day Ever stamp set. I colored small details with my Copic markers and called it good!

Then I layered with a couple papers and added some tilts and small dots of glitter glue to finish the card.

Dare 2B Artzy Love Birds

Happy Monday to you all!  Michelle Houghton from Scrapwever.com here with a little Dare 2B Artzy inspiration to start off your week!

Next Sunday we are starting a new monthly challenge for July so make sure to check back then to see the Design Team’s take on this month’s challenge.

Today I am playing with one of the newer D2BA sets Love Birds.

Copic for coloring of course:

Used the coordinating die to cut them out and then added them to a couple of the newer pattered papers and even cut a couple butterflies out of the paper that is now covered by the yellow paper ?.

So simple to use the beautiful papers to cut out some of the details for your embellishments. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
