Our first stamp and stencil combo are so adorable! This spunky little girl needed hair with an attitude and a artistic shirt and backdrop to match!

Sorry for the lack of details today I will try to get back and include the colors I used for any interested. It is all Copic of course and the background is Copic airbrush.

Copic Fabric Fold Tutorial

Hello Stamp AnnieThing friends! Checking in for some Stamp AnnieThing inspiration for you today and a little learning as well!

I have another Copic tutorial using the adorable Rae – Enjoying Simple Pleasures stamp.

Today I am focusing in on fabric folds in order to give the appearance of depth in clothing.

Here is a look at how this image finished up:

I used the following Copic colors on this image: Skin – R000, R01 Hair – E21, E23, E25, E27 Dress – B000, B01, B02, B05, Colorless Blender Pinwheel – V01, V04, V06, V09 Sky – B0000 Ground – G40, G43, G46

If you would like to take a closer look at how I created the folds check out the video tutorial. Because I only show the dress and the pinwheel in the video so I am able to keep the speed very close to real time!

Here is today’s image we are sharing

I colored her up with Copics of course:

The Copic Colors used are: Skin – E50, E00, E01, R12, BV000, E04 Hair – Y00, Y21, E55 Flower – R12, R05, R08, R39, Y35 Sarong – E50, E53, E55, B60, B63, B66

I created a fun background using one of the brand new stencils Diamond Ball Crosshatch. (This is a new favorite for sure!) I air brushed Copics then used Nuvo Glimmer Paste through the same stencil.

To complete the card I used one of the new dies Circle Reverse to create the ground and details running above my stamp.

I added Copic Color to my image (surprise ;-))

Copic Colors Used: Skin – E53, E33, E04 Hair – R83, R24, R29, R59, V99 Dress – B60, B63, B66, BG70, BG53, BG72, BG57 I used a Gold Prismacolor pencil on her hoop ear rings and bangles on her scarf to add a little metallic sheen.

Then used a cut file to create a fun card base!

Stamp AnnieThing July Release Day 1

Yep it is time for a new release from Stamp AnnieThing! You are going to love the new stamps, dies and stencils. Today’s peek is a gorgeous stamp.

I love the flow of her hair and the sentiment. I started by coloring her up with my Copics.

I went with some no-line coloring and used the following Copic colors:

Skin – E11, E13, E15, E04, R21 Hair – R39, R59, V99, W9 Dress – E50, E53, E55 Necklace – BG23, BG49 Sky – B0000 Ground – YR12, YG91, YG95, YG97

I tried to match the sky color to the background paper and then imitate the ground to the patterned paper with the flowers on green. Even though it is not a perfect match it does give the same feel.

I want to show you an angle of the card as well so you can see how it opens. I am trying my best to try some new card techniques and learned how to use cutting files on my Brother Scan and Cut. (Big deal for this non tech girl!)
