Kraftin Kimmie July Release

Today is the day for Kraftin’ Kimmie’s July release. There have been peaks going on the past two days and today all the stamps will be available at the store.

I am lucky enough to be on the in this month and have a couple of the beautiful new images! I got them both colored up and I have one to share today and then I have a video tutorial that will be featured over on the Copic In The Craft Room YouTube channel on Wednesday.

Here is the first card I have for you today!

D2BA Male Birthday Cards

Hey Hey it is a new month and a new challenge at Dare 2B Artzy! This month the name of the game is Male Birthday cards. Hope you have a chance to play along. All you need to do is share your creation on the D2BA blog!

I kept mine pretty neutral so it can be used for a Birthday or just a happy day and male or female alike. I used a lot of Copic Colorless Blender and misted the paper which is a smooth white cardstock, soaking it first, then dripping Copic Various Ink refills for the background.

Then I stamped the frame from the Best Day Ever stamp set. I colored small details with my Copic markers and called it good!

Then I layered with a couple papers and added some tilts and small dots of glitter glue to finish the card.

July Stamp AnnieThing Release Day #3


 Let's go back into history with this release!  Here is to the Great Pyramids, Rulers and Gods!
 
 Anubis- the god of  embalming and death. They were believed to watch over the dead in the afterlife.

I stuck with a fairly traditional palette again and the same Copics from my day #1 photo to color up my image.

I can’t decide which is my favorite, but this guy is pretty darn cool! I also used the pyramid die again and a charm from this month’s release. then pulled out twine from Stamp AnnieThing as well.

Hope you have enjoyed all the new release goodies. I adore this release, you will be seeing more from me in the near future possible in some unique color combinations.

July Stamp AnnieThing Release Day #2


 Let's go back into history with this release!  Here is to the Great Pyramids, Rulers and Gods!
  
 Every Queen deserves a Pharaoh!  Here is our super cute ruler in headdress!

Does it get any cuter? Probably, but I am enamored with this month’s release! I colored up the Pharaoh with my Copic markers.

Then I used the new pyramid die to create a shaker. I am pretty proud of myself for figuring out how to piece it together! Always a challenge for me ha ha!

Here are a couple close ups of the card from other angles as well. The yellow glitter cardstock, red metallic cardstock, the camel charm (minus the loop I snipped with wire cutters), “amazing” die and all the shaker elements are from the Stamp AnnieThing site!

July Stamp AnnieThing Release Day #1

Let's go back into history with this release!  Here is to the Great Pyramids, Rulers and Gods!

 Here is our lovely Cleopatra!  Check her out in all her gold and jewels.  She even has her beloved and cherished Cat with her!

 We also have a great new Sun Ray stencil, Pyramid Builder dies and Amazing Word die!

I loved coloring up this month’s images and you will see in the next three days I decided to keep them pretty traditional and similar in coloring. I used one larger grouping of my Copics for all three of the new stamped images.

So I started by coloring the image:

Then I used the new stencil to emboss a piece of patterned paper then used the uber cool new dies to create a background.
