Stamp AnnieThing May Release Day #1

This month’s release is a MYSTERY! Find the clues to discover our 3 new images with coordinating outline dies, A Heart Puzzle Die, A new word die, a new stencil, and some fun extras.
Meet the sophisticated Nigel-I Detect An Amazing Day

I decided this month to go with an old Schoo look. All three images remind me of old movies so I tried for the old film sepia tones. I used my Copics but limited myself to only my Earth tones. As you might have seen me do this before there is a huge range of color within the Earth tones so it is a favorite challenge to myself.

Here is a close up of Nigel, his hair is a fun challenge in itself!
Back out a little and now you can see all of him.
Colors used:
Skin – E30, E21, E31, E04
Hair – E43, E44, E47, E49
Coat – E81, E84, E87
Scarf – E04, E09
Pant and shirt – E71, E74, E77, E79
Shoes – E43, E47
Here is the full card, I also used the new word die cut and stencil! The stencil I ran through my die cut with my silicone matte and then sanded the paper down to show the relief!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Make sure to stop by Thursday and Friday to check out the rest of the new release!

Dare 2B Artzy and Gelli Arts team up!

Hey friends and family how about a creative team up for a little inspiration today?

Gelli Arts and Dare 2B Artzy are putting their creative minds together to bring you some new art inspiration, a little hop and some prizes from both companies! To participate make sure to stop by both Dare 2B Artzy and Gelli Arts. And check out all the details. You will also find links to all the participating designers there!

For my project I used my Holly Christmas – Totally Tracy stamp set from D2BA, Copic Various Inks and my Gelli Arts Gel Printing Plate.

I am working onto of a craft matte since I know I get a little crazy when working with inks ?
I used three different colors and dripped each of the colors onto the Gel Printing Plate. What I love about the Gelli Printing Plate is that the ink stays wet for a few moments!
I laid a white cardstock directly on the ink and lifted it straight up to get this beautiful effect!
I probably could have done this next step a couple different ways but I spread some hand sanitizer on my craft matte and then gently stamped into it with my flower stamp.
I added more ink onto the Gelli Plate and then gently stamped onto the gel Plate with my stamp that has the hand sanitizer on it.
The final stamp with the stamp is onto cardstock!
With just 3 rounds of nk on my Gelli Printing Plate I managed to create all of these.
Doing a little fussy cutting and then adding twine and from tape for a little dimension created fun EASY cards! These went together crazy fast!
I did add a little sparkle onto the centers as well!

Thank you so much fro stopping by today! Make sure to stop by both Dare 2B Artzy and Gelli Arts to see the full lists for the team up of designers and to find out how to enter for your chance to win a prize!

How You Bean? Stamp AnnieThing

Hello friends and family! I am bringing you a little mid-week Stamp AnnieThing inspiration. I have been playing with a Gelli Arts: Gel Printing Plate recently so I decided to create a background for the adorable Gracie-How You Bean image.

I colored Gracie with my Copics:

Then I used the Gel Printing plate, Copic Various Ink refills and a plastic cup to create faux coffee rings on watercolor paper:

Add the two together with some pretty patterned papers and trim and we have a card!

Here is a close up of Gracie to see her hair and skin a little better. I added a touch of Glossy Accents onto the coffee bean on the cup too.

Thanks for stopping by today! If you have not had a chance make sure to enter your “Pastel” creation in this month’s theme challenge on our FaceBook Fan page!

Seas The Day, Dare 2B Artzy

Hello Friends and Family! I have a super fun card to share today that includes Copic coloring and airbrushing, there is even a video to boot so make sure to check it all out!

First things first, I created a background using my Copic Air Brush System and a beautiful stencil from the new line.

Next I colored up the adorable octopus from the Seas The Day stamp set:

And on the card it all goes! I added details with sketch pens that added just the right touches!

And finally here is a link to the video!

Pastel Pedal Pusher

Hello Family and friends if you know me at all you know as the sun returns and at minimum clears the snow and ice from the trails there is one thing on my mind BIKING! My husband and I are avid bikers (yeah it is how I break bones) but we love it!

The trails are clear and even thought the temperatures still waiver and the wind is not cooperating we have been out on our wheels several times already!

What does all of this have to do with today’s Stamp AnnieThing DT post? Well take a look!

I have a Copic colored card front that fits into the theme week we started this week, Pastel Colors! I used the Julie-Enjoy the Ride stamp and colored the full card front with Copic Markers, keeping the colors in the light range, you’ll notice the value # on all the Copics is 4 or below, lots of 0, 1 and 2s. The few that are darker went on the tires of the bike!

Here is a look at her face close up!

And backing out so you can see the full card, I just trimmed and added the image on to a white card base. Copics bleed through paper so adding a card base underneath is a must for me.

Add your pastel inspired cards over at the Stamp AnnieThing Fan page on FaceBook!
