Hope you are enjoying the start of the Kraftin’ Kimmie 12 Days of Christmas Celebration! We are up to day 6, can you believe it?!
I am playing with one of the stamps sets I designed for this past year, Lookin’ Sharp! I love these little succulents and decided it would be fun to go a little holiday with them. I colored up three of the plants with my Copic Markers first.
Next I stamped the post on holiday patterned paper, fussy cut the post and the plants, and glued the post on to the succulent. I popped the newly potted succulents onto a few layers of paper on my card front.
I wanted to make sure you could get a close up of all the little plants to see the extra shadows I added both on the patterned paper pots and the yardstick base that they are sitting on. I feel like it is these finishing touches that really make a card stand out.
