Layered Lovely Paper

Hello friends and family I am checking in with a little Dare 2B Artzy inspiration to start your month off right. Are you ever short on creative time? I know I am regularly so having a couple easy go to cards is super nice! I created a card using one strip of patterned paper and a quarter sheet of white cardstock!

First up I used a single sheet of D2BA patterned paper, I used both sides which of course coordinate beautifully then I also used part of the paper edge!

Then I used the Hello layered die and white cardstock to create a greeting for my card.

I layered them all on a white card base and poof, a card!

I debated with myself about coloring the greeting with Copic because I could match it to the patterned paper if I want but I am loving the white on white layers.

That is it for today! hope your April is off to a grand start without too many April fools pranks, at least none pulled on you!?

Have a Happy Colorful Day!

Here is a look at what I created this week!

I started by airbrushing on some of the glitter cardstock, I was going for a flame effect.
Next I colored my image up with a lot of de-saturated Blue Greens, Yellow Greens and Earth tones.
I finished her up layering her with a card base a rock formation of cardstock with inked edges and twine and a dragon charm from the Grab and Go Box!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Here is a list of the whole SAT design crew!

Groovy Girl

Hello friends and family I have a little mid-week inspiration for you today. I have a card to share today using Stamp AnnieThings Rae – I Think You’re Pretty Neato. I colored her up with my Copic markers and got her on a card with lots of fun patterned papers.

I used lots of Earth tones for the coloring, E7’s on her dress with accents of E8’s, those are those green sections.

Hope you are playing along with this month’s theme, if you have not had a chance there is still a little time before we move on to a new challenge.

Short and sweet today!

Otterly Irresistible

Happy Monday friends and family. Bringing you a little Dare 2B Artzy inspiration to start your week off right. The challenge this month is up and running “Anything Goes” is the name of the game, make sure to post your work for the chance at some Dare 2B Artzy goodness.

Today I am sharing a new card with the adorable otters in the new Otterly Awesome stamp set!

They were just so sweet swimming together! and coloring them up with my Copic was so fun! Here is a close up of the pair.

The patterned papers that coordinate with this set and several of the new stamps make card making so easy! I even did a little work on the inside which I don’t always do, so here is a peak!

Thanks for stopping by today! Make sure to check out all the new papers, stamps, dies and more that came out with the new release!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!

Sweet Dreams- Copic no-line

Hello Stamp AnnieThing fans, Michelle Houghton here for a little mid-weeks inspiration.

There is a new theme week this week, we are challenging you to use some of the beautiful adornments now found at SAT!

I am challenging myself with a little no-line coloring as well on Holly – Sweet Dreams

I chose to use some of the adornments from one of our Grab and Go boxes and I used them as part of the background versus in a shaker card. It took a little time to dot glue and place the small glitter and sequins, but I like the end effect.

Here is a couple close ups so you can see both the coloring and the sequin backdrop. I just love those fuzzy bunny slippers.

To top it off here is a link for the video of the no-line coloring!

Thank you so much for stopping in today.

Have a Happy Colorful day!
