How You Bean? Stamp AnnieThing

Hello friends and family! I am bringing you a little mid-week Stamp AnnieThing inspiration. I have been playing with a Gelli Arts: Gel Printing Plate recently so I decided to create a background for the adorable Gracie-How You Bean image.

I colored Gracie with my Copics:

Then I used the Gel Printing plate, Copic Various Ink refills and a plastic cup to create faux coffee rings on watercolor paper:

Add the two together with some pretty patterned papers and trim and we have a card!

Here is a close up of Gracie to see her hair and skin a little better. I added a touch of Glossy Accents onto the coffee bean on the cup too.

Thanks for stopping by today! If you have not had a chance make sure to enter your “Pastel” creation in this month’s theme challenge on our FaceBook Fan page!

Pastel Pedal Pusher

Hello Family and friends if you know me at all you know as the sun returns and at minimum clears the snow and ice from the trails there is one thing on my mind BIKING! My husband and I are avid bikers (yeah it is how I break bones) but we love it!

The trails are clear and even thought the temperatures still waiver and the wind is not cooperating we have been out on our wheels several times already!

What does all of this have to do with today’s Stamp AnnieThing DT post? Well take a look!

I have a Copic colored card front that fits into the theme week we started this week, Pastel Colors! I used the Julie-Enjoy the Ride stamp and colored the full card front with Copic Markers, keeping the colors in the light range, you’ll notice the value # on all the Copics is 4 or below, lots of 0, 1 and 2s. The few that are darker went on the tires of the bike!

Here is a look at her face close up!

And backing out so you can see the full card, I just trimmed and added the image on to a white card base. Copics bleed through paper so adding a card base underneath is a must for me.

Add your pastel inspired cards over at the Stamp AnnieThing Fan page on FaceBook!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Stamp AnnieThing April Release Day #3

It's April!  I have to admit, the year is flying by, but this month's release is out of this world!
Day three consists of our latest stamp, Leah- shoot for the stars, !
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Leah – Shoot For the Stars is the last in our little series this month. I pulled out one more unique color combo to finish off my images for the month.
Blues and violets set off Leah’s fun hair do! I added a little sparkle onto her star tattoo as well.
Backing out a little you can see the die cut word art, I used some of the silver and glitter yardsticks from the March Grab and Go kits. I also used two of the star charms from this release. I used metal wire cutters to snip off the loops!
The background is Copic Various Inks on a glossy photo paper.
And here is the full card!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and following along with the April release!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!

 Have a great day!
I am using another unique set of colors today! I decided once I started I was having way too much fun with funky colored skin and hair!
Ethan went a little blue green with flame like hair. He is floating past a planet that I created with Copic Ink refills on Glossy Photo paper and the beautiful new die cut included in this month’s release. That glitter background paper is from the Grab and Go box from March!
Here is the full card. Ethan is floating through the night sky, obviously he does better in a no oxygen atmosphere than I would ?

Stamp AnnieThing April Release Day #1

It's April!  I have to admit, the year is flying by, but this month's release is out of this world!
We have 3 new image stamps, co-ordinating outline dies, a new word die, a new stencil, and some fun goodies of related charms and and new enamel dots too!

Meet the adorable Emma!  She reminds me of Judy Jetson (lol).   She has a matching outline die too!
check out the new Crater and Far Out word dies
and of course the fun charms and enamel dots too!
`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
I colored Emma up with some unique colors. I was inspired by Ann’s banner for this releasee and also some of the characters in Guardians of the Galaxy! (A favorite movie)
I added small details with an opaque white and also glitter pens on the collar, shoes, hair bobbles and belt.
Here is the completed card I used twine and that beautiful black glitter cardstock from the March Grab and Go box. I love the charms in this month’s release!
