Pintrest Inspiration

Monday at Get It Scrapped I shared how I was inspired by a specific Pintrest board, a collection of woodland animal pins.  Woodland animals are quite the hot item right now in the crafting world.  Check out the article HERE to see what I pulled from the Pintrest board and the layout I created!  Here is a peek:

Here are 2 of the layouts I completed and shared;

I love this page about Sara’s diving, I used a series of photos that my dad captured at a practice and chopped them down to stack them up.  The splatter was created with a new fun tool that I will be talking about next month at Get It Scrapped.

This one has some wonderful photos from my parents visit in August of 2012.  The large orange object that Lori is pretending to munch is an overgrown cucumber from our little garden.  I did a whole group of simple quick layouts like this to add to the gallery, it was great fun and got me itching to do lots more!

Happy Saturday!

August Photo a Day – part 3

OK so i am falling a little behind!  I am going to have to cheat a little extra to finish up all my photos BUT I will make it work!  Here are 5 more of my photos for my photo a day challenge at Get It Scrapped!

Day 14- Grow

image(17)

My girls keep swapping out who is taller!  Lori had Sara beat about mid summer but Sara has pulled ahead again!  All I know is that these two just keep growing!

Day 15 – Blue Skies Smiling at Me

image(13)So not exactly blue skies BUT I couldn’t resist trying to capture the reflection of the sunrise that greeted me on this morning.  The blue skies have certainly been smiling here these days.

Day 16 – Get to the Point

image (3)

A needle without a point, I worked a couple days on a small piece of crochet to put on a project for Get It Scrapped.

Day 17 – School Days

image(14)Might be my best shot yet.  There is nothing better then 2 big smiles at the END of the first day of school!

Day 18 – Water Works

image(7)image(12)We decided after the third day of school to break out the slip n’slide.  We ended up with 10 kids in our front yard it waas great fun.  Lori and Sara decided to try some tumbling passes (at least somersaults) into the water.

Day 19 – Dog Days

imageYep, poor Maisey is stuck with just me again.  Quiet house for she and I.  I am not near as exciting as the two girls rumbling around the house I am sure 🙂

So the mission this week is to get a few more checked off!  I can do it!

Have a great Friday all!

Two Tutorials

I have two new tutorials out there.  The cute squirrel is over at Get It Scrapped and comes with a printable.  The Butterfly can be found over at Tiffany Doodles.  Make sure to check them out!

Make sure to tune in next week.  I am going to be posting a fun mini tutorial here on making a hair clip or flower out of a button and then I should have a big post later in the week that will have a prize attached!

Happy weekend all!
