I decided to play with the letters today and make meal plan cards. I read this great idea recently of planing 4-5 weeks of meals and then rotating them through a season! So you still get a variety but you already have a plan for the week and a grocery list in mind. ALL GOOD! Here is what I created:

I love how they turned out and I could make several at once so I have more ready to go when we roll over to Winter!A few doodles with black and white markers and wa-la! Thanks for the quick stop today!

Today I have two cards to share! The first is using the Puffin & Pals set I could not resist creating a second card so I could color up one of these little puffins with my Copics. Here are the colors I used:

Super fun adding those bright colors to the beak. Y’s and YR’s are on the beak and a little on the eye, the C’s are the rest of the puffin, BV’s are the snow and ice and the B000 is the sky. Here is a look at the coloring:

You can see I used the light pink ink to do a little no-line Copic coloring. Then I added some fun patterned papers to create layers. I pulled a few sequins and a snowflake charm from this month’s add on kit for finishing touches.

Before I send you off to the next blog I wanted to give you a few peeks at the card I created with this month’s bonus stamp. I shared this on Instagram earlier, but here are the colors I used and a closer look.

Very simple no-line coloring, this is a great image to practice this skill. I used the BV’s on the seal as well as the snow and ice. The C3 was added into the cast shadow to give some separation between the seal and ground. . The E04 is on the little heart nose and the BG000 is the sky. For the finished card I added another of the snowflake charms and a few sequins from the add on kit this month. If you have not tried one of the add on kits yet this month is one that I would highly recommend!

October Release Is “Narly”

Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the October Release

Lets take a closer look at a couple of these narwals! How cute are they?! We are slightly obsessed with these sea critters right now at our house. (I have a swimmer you know)

The BV’s are for the narwals, The Y21 and Y28 are their horns, The B32, Y11 and YR12 I used in the Copic Air Brush System to create the background effect.

The stencil I used is from last month’s release and if you are more curious how I created this little no-line narwals I will have a video on my YouTube channel this coming Wednesday showing both the background and the coloring!

Let’s get started with to of the seal pups from the new set Puffins and Pals!

The BV’s are on the seals, as well as the V12, the E04 is on their tiny noses, Booo is the sky with the Copic Colorless Blender softening the edges of the clouds and the B21, B32 and B91 are the cold ocean waters. The ice was created with the BV20 and Colorless Blender.

I used one of this months stencils and the new KK ink color of the month to create one of my background papers and threw on a few sequins from this month’s add on bundle to add some sparkle. (Never too much sparkle)

And here we are celebrating this month’s release, hopping and shopping is always fun! I am sharing another card using my Wooly Wonderland set. Today’s card is a slimline to pack in a whole heard of little wooly friends.

I stamped the little lamb first (remember this is the bonus stamp this month, you can only get him with a minimum purchase)
Then I masked him off and added one larger body
I masked him off and added two more sheep bodies
Then last I got to pick fun faces to go on each and a sentiment to tag on the end
Coloring here I come! Here are the Copic colors I used

E 7’s are the wool, W’s and E93 are the faces and legs, the BV’s and Colorless Blender are the snowy ground, and then the V’s, BG,s and Yes are the hats and scarfs. (The Y’s are the jingle bells)

Trimming off the top of the image allows the sheep to sit on the bright bold patterned paper. Here is a closer look at the line up.

This month I created three cards with my new Wooly Wonderland set. One of the cards I have not shared yet but do not worry it is being featured this Wednesday with a full coloring video to go along with it!
