I decided to play with the letters today and make meal plan cards. I read this great idea recently of planing 4-5 weeks of meals and then rotating them through a season! So you still get a variety but you already have a plan for the week and a grocery list in mind. ALL GOOD! Here is what I created:

I love how they turned out and I could make several at once so I have more ready to go when we roll over to Winter!A few doodles with black and white markers and wa-la! Thanks for the quick stop today!

New No-Line Copic Coloring Video

How about a little no-line coloring today? I have a new video over on the Copic In the Craft Room YouTube channel. The video is featuring this month’s add on image from Kraftin’ Kimmie. With a minimum purchase this cutie gets added to your loot.

You might have noticed that the finished image is slightly different. I did a second coloring and the patches on the kitty are a little different as well as an added background! Here is how the background happened: Here are the colors I used on the kitty and the mouse,

I first sketched the background. I added a wood floor using one point perspective and added a rope rug in an elliptical shape. I started my sketch with pencil, went over the lines with a Copic Multiliner then after letting them dry erased the pencil lines.

Next was coloring the image I used the exact same steps on the kitty and the mouse as the video. (This is just stamped in black so it is not a no-line finished look.) The background has very basic coloring to let the image shine through.

A second go with the Leapin Lizards set for me today! I could not resist trying a rainbow chameleon. 😁 So I started with a series of bright Copic rainbow colors, notice that even though they are completely different color families the edges blend.

Then I added lighter versions of all those colors to create the rainbow that is behind the chameleon and of course changing his colors.

He He! Here he is all colored up, love how he turned out!

I kept the cad super simple clean with black and white so the rainbow really shines through. I continued the rainbow down onto the stamped sentiment, so fun that the letters were an open font so you can fill them. There are a few Krafty dots in the lower corner as well.

I colored up three of the succulents:

Super excited to be playing with my second full stamp set. I have several examples of the fun little succulents to share over the next few days! Here is the first all colored up in my Copics.

This little guy is too cute and my first little sample from the set:

Onto a card with a lot of white space. I used one of the sentiments inside the card. I had too much fun picking and choosing a mix of fun and silly sentiments to go with the little succulents.
