Monthly Challenge at D2BA

It is the first Sunday of the month and that means a new challenge at the Dare 2B Artzy blog. Each month a winner is selected and gets some free Dare 2B Artzy goodness, and all it takes is a little creative time on your part.

This months challenge is Dreaming of Flowers, easy peasy especially with all the new flower images at Dare 2B Artzy!.

I created this card for the challenge, I stamped the flower twice so it would circle the greeting and colored it up with my Copics!

Not a lot of explanation needed just a pretty card for a beautiful spring day!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!

Stamp AnnieThing May Release Day 3

Yep one more day of crafty goodness and time for another man to take center stage! Today Kevin – Grilling is featured and I also used a gorgeous new stencil that is available this month as well called Sashiko Abstract.

Right to my pictures then! I started by stamping, I did a little masking to add a steak onto Kevin’s grilling fork, we like steak at our house) and then picked a handful of masculine colors to color Kevin with out of my Copic stash:

Here is a closer look at Kevin and his grilling work:

I then used the new stencil and my Copic ABS to create a blue abstract background. Love the geometric shapes on this one, it is most likely going to appear again!

Then layered it all together to create a fun card that immediately got tucked into an envelope and went to my husband last weekend for his Birthday> Perfect since he is a grill master!

Hope you have enjoyed the May release and have stopped by Stamp AnnieThing to pick out one or two favorites to keep your creative juices flowing!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!

Stamp AnnieThing May Release Day 2

Welcome back Stamp AnnieThing fans! Ready for another adorable stamp?! Today’s star is Stacey – #celebrate. I am in love with her sparkler and hat, the hat did not make the card this time but you can bet it will be on Stacey’s head the next time I color her! OH and we also have a really fun set of diet banner flags that YES Copic color beautifully!

Here is a look at what I created-

I stamped my image on Copic Sketch book paper and then gathered lots of bright Copic markers:

I love how the image layered with the sparkler in Stacey’s hand and the star banner colored up so easy with Copics! Here is a closer look at Stacey’s face:

And here is a look at my final card, I will admit on this one I like the image a lot, but  I am wanting to peel it off the card and try again. Do you ever have days like that? So I will stay zoomed in when I look at her ?.

Tomorrow we have one more day of creative goodness for you so make sure to stop by and see the final day of reveals!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!
