I created a second card using my floral, sympathy set. The border stamp is easier to color as the flowers are larger and adding a simple sentiment can complete the card. I started by coloring my border and creating a strip of color with my sentiment.

I fussy cut the border image and trimmed the sentiment and added both to some beautiful patterned papers.

I did not color the flower centers and did not realize it until after I had taken photos. I like them white so I have left them, but they could be a darker violet, a deep yellow or maybe add a dot of glitter glue. Thanks for hopping by again! On Wednesday I will have a new video to go along with this month’s free add on stamp, he he, he is so fun!

Teeny Tiny flowers and lots of them! When I created the stamps for this set the flowers got super tiny in those larger bundles. You can tackle them so many ways. You of course can color each and every petal, but you can also create larger sweeping washes of color, emboss, color larger sections…The team has done an amazing job showcasing a range of creative possibilities! I used my Copic markers.

I used a light pink ink and then LOOSLY colored the flowers. I did not agonize over every petal. AND you can still see the pink lines I did not attempt to make the image a true no-line image.

I layered a few papers under my image and sentiment and called it good!

So you have seen all the goodies! Today they will all be available in the shop and tomorrow we will celebrate with the hop and shop. Thank you as always for stopping by today!

     Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the May Release

I could not choose between all the farm cuteness so a slim line cad was in order with all the Farm Friends gathered. I used my Copic markers on the animals and to create a VERY SIMPLE scene. It is a large group of numbers but mostly because of the variety of furry and feathered friends.

Here is a closer look at some of the coloring.

Because the scene is larger the card itself is very simple.

I created this fun image using the rooster and his sense post. I added a full barn image by hand behind him with a light pencil sketch to put him right at home!

I am playing with pandas from the “Pandamonium” set and looking at the Neutral and Toner gray Copic families. If you did not see my post from yesterday do a quick peek and check out the Cool and Warm grays as well. Here is a look at the direct comparison. These two are extremely close the Toner is SLIGHTLY warmer than the Neutrals.

And here are the cards side by side. Again the background colors are the same and the color difference you are looking for is in the black areas on the pandas.
