Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the January Release

at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!

I am coloring up a chocolate bar today, I will be showing the coloring process on a video this coming Wednesday so stay tuned for details on that. I am using my standard Copics and here are the colors used:

I discovered fairly quickly that I have an issue with one of these markers that I am going to have to work on correcting. I will show that on the video Wednesday as well. Here is a closer look at the coloring:

For the card I stacked some patterned papers, fussy cut the chocolate bar and stamped directly on the ledger paper.

Happy holiday hop! I am playing with the Fall Breeze stamp set. I did a little Copic coloring to start of course.

I wanted to add a little holiday tech so the leave got coated with glitter. Here are two views so you can see the coloring as well as the shine.

To finish I added the leaves as a tag on a present, at least a card that is decorated as a present. Hope you are all ready to enjoy the Christmas season with friends, family, good food and LOTS of laughter and love!

Day 6 of the 12 Days of Christmas!

Hope you are enjoying the start of the Kraftin’ Kimmie 12 Days of Christmas Celebration! We are up to day 6, can you believe it?!

I am playing with one of the stamps sets I designed for this past year, Lookin’ Sharp! I love these little succulents and decided it would be fun to go a little holiday with them. I colored up three of the plants with my Copic Markers first.

Next I stamped the post on holiday patterned paper, fussy cut the post and the plants, and glued the post on to the succulent. I popped the newly potted succulents onto a few layers of paper on my card front.

I wanted to make sure you could get a close up of all the little plants to see the extra shadows I added both on the patterned paper pots and the yardstick base that they are sitting on. I feel like it is these finishing touches that really make a card stand out.
