As High As I Can Reach D2BA and Copic

Hello Friends and Family! Happy Monday to you I am starting my week with a little D2BA inspiration.

Hopefully you were able to participate in the new product hop this past weekend and see wonderful projects created with all the new products by Dare 2B Artzy that will be ready to ship in the next week or so! And I am crossing my fingers that you have had a little crafty time this month and have been able to participate in this months challenge “love”. Super easy to create a card, page or crafting project and enter a photo for your chance to win some D2BA goodies!

On to the inspiration! I created a sweet card with the new “Stand Tall” stamp set:

I used my Copic markers to color the image after stamping 3 stamps from the set, the mama (or daddy), baby and the sentiment. I decided, after coloring the giraffes with colors that I felt like were at least similar to the real animal, that I wanted to create a background as well but did not want a crisp horizon or just faded halo. I settled on a grass look but softer. The colors I used are: Giraffe (base) – YR20, YR21, YR23 (ears) E93 (spots) E44, E47 Background BG70, BG72, Colorless Blender. I did add a little opaque white on the eyes as well to pop the highlight a bit.

Day 3 Stamp AnnieThing February Release


Happy February!!!

 Day three consists of our latest stamp, Maggie- Get Well Soon!!
 
 We hope you enjoyed our February release!

I had fun with Maggie too! I colored her up with Copics then used the speech bubble dies from yesterdays reveal and sentiments from today and yesterday.

There are too many Colors on this one to get them all in one fist so here is the skin and hair (I got a little silly on the hair, but I LOVE how it turned out) Skin – YR000, YR01, E93, E04, E33 (freckles) Hair – YR31, Y21, YR14, YR24, E23
Nothing like a little two fisted coloring ? Shirt – BG70, BG72, BG75 Pants – C5, C9 Shoe – C1, C3 Cast W1, E42, Colorless Blender, Chair – C1, C3, B63, B66, B97
I added a background instead of trying to cut around and through all those details and then added her to a simple card base with the speech bubbles.

Stamp AnnieThing February Release Day 1



 Happy February!!!
Day one consists of our latest stamp, Oliver- braces.
 
 We created this stamp with add ons.  We know how hard it can be to find special need cards and images, so we developed this month to showcase them.  Create the kids as typical or with the add ons.  Oliver comes to you with add one arm brace stamps.  Mask them on to showcase a special individual!   
 
 We also have a new Retro Squares Stencil and a very cool 8 point star back die.  Use this to frame your images or as a window!  Embellish your creations further with our newly added Heart sprinkles or Valentine Sequin Mixes!
 

I played with the new stencil and stamp from today's peeks. To create my card. I started by coloring my image with my Copic markers:

Skin – E21, E33, E04 Hair – E43, E44, E47, E49 Pants – E50, E31, E33 Braces – C1, C3 Shoes – W1, W3 Shirts – B41, B95, C1, Colorless Blender

I embossed my cardstock with the stencil running it through my die cut machine with a rubber matte.
I also used a die cut from Stamp AnnieThing. I love these big words that sum it up!

Seas The Day!

Hello friends and family starting your week off with a little Dare2B Artzy and Copic inspiration. 

I am sharing one of the brand new images this week, the Ocean Waves stamp set. There is a brand new challenge as is usual at the start of the month and just in time for Valentines the challenge is “Love”! Make sure to share your creation over on the D2BA blog for a chance to win some Dare 2B Artzy goodies.

I stamped the little sail boat and masked it so I could come back and stamp the waves over the top so the little boat could be right down on the water and added one of the sentiments that comes with the set. 

Then I colored up the water and sky with my Copics:

I added some color to my little ship:

I added a little sparkle to the waves:

And got my image onto my card front with a small touches of two of the new coordinating patterned papers from the Seas The Day line.

Smile! Inspiration from Stamp Anniething

Hello friends and family! I am checking in on this fine hump day to share a little SAT inspiration! I am creating a fun card with this month’s amazing release. The stamp is Kimmie – So Jazzed and she is GREAT for practicing coloring long hair! Love her gorgeous long straight hair. I am coloring with my Copic markers to color her up and then I used a few simple patterned papers for a bright cheerful base. I also used this month’s word die Smile! I mean who can’t use a smile through the mail?!

E11, E13, E15, YR31, Y21, YR24, E33, YR04, YR07, BG02, BG05, C1, C3, C5, C7, C9, Colorless Blender. I created the quilted look on the purse just drawing short dashes with my C3 Copic.
