Smile! Inspiration from Stamp Anniething

Hello friends and family! I am checking in on this fine hump day to share a little SAT inspiration! I am creating a fun card with this month’s amazing release. The stamp is Kimmie – So Jazzed and she is GREAT for practicing coloring long hair! Love her gorgeous long straight hair. I am coloring with my Copic markers to color her up and then I used a few simple patterned papers for a bright cheerful base. I also used this month’s word die Smile! I mean who can’t use a smile through the mail?!

Here is a look at Kimmie:

Here is a list of the colors I used:

E11, E13, E15, YR31, Y21, YR24, E33, YR04, YR07, BG02, BG05, C1, C3, C5, C7, C9, Colorless Blender. I created the quilted look on the purse just drawing short dashes with my C3 Copic.

Here is a look at the completed card: Yep clean and simple!

And one more close up:

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you are having time during the cold winter months to get crafty with your Stamp Anniething favorites!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!

`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
I created 4 cards they are not perfect, but they were quick and fun and everything I needed was in the box! To top it off I barely made a dent in the supplies in the Grab and Go box!!
For the first card I used the Galactic 2 stamp with the matching die, the patterned paper, cardstock, card base and two of the gorgeous glitters!
This next used, the same stamp, patterned paper, twine, charms and card base.
Up next I used the same stamp, patterned paper, gems, one charm and card base.
The last card I used the stamp, cardstock, patterned paper, gems and card base. On all the cards I also used the craft glue, double sided tape and foam tape squares. Love that everything is included!!

Here is our DT Blog line up so you can see all the WONDERFUL projects you can create using items from the Galactic Love box! Candace

New Product from Dare 2B Artzy

Don’t you just love when a favorite company comes out with new things to create with? I do and Dare 2B Artzy just shared a whole lot of new over the past weekend!

Hi friends I am sharing a little inspiration to chase away winter blues. It just got real here in the midwest as we got hit with our first real snow of the season and the weekend temperatures were in the single digits and “feels like” in the below zero ranges. I have been tucked in tight prepping for classes and creating cards with the fun new products from Dare 2B Artzy.

Not only is there new product in the store there is a brand new site so be patient as we work out all the glitches, also know that the new goodies are not quite shipping yet. They are all there to view and purchase, but not ready to package up for a wee bit longer.

Today I am sharing an image from the new Seas the Day collection, I am using the Aloha/Hibiscus Stamp Set and the beautiful new coordinating papers.

I adore a simple card as you know and the clean lines of the image and simple color palette just suite me to a tee. I have colored the image with Copic, including the background and added the sparkle with a little glitter. I can color right over the sentiment since the D2BA inks are Copic compatible and then trim the square and layer with a card base and patterned paper.

Here is a quick look at the flower:

The colors I used are Y00, Y21 and the Colorless Blender on the flower and B00 for the background, so super simple! Reminds me a bit of a Hawaiian shirt.

I hope you were lucky enough to catch the Dare 2B Artzy team at their booth in Phoenix, but if you were like me and huddles at home in the cold make sure you make time to stop at the new on-line store and see all that is new!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!

Purple Palooza

Hello friends and family, checking in today to share a little SAT inspiration. I had so much fun creating with this month’s release images. I missed the opening days of this months release so I am super excited to get to share a few creations over the next several weeks.

This week I have “Bridget Hang Loose Today” popping by. I colored her up with my Copic markers then created a very simple card base with one of the new dies this month.

Colors used: Skin E50, E21, E11, Hair E21, E23, E25, E27, Dress V06, V09, Belt, YG23, YG25

I added a little shine to her accessories and opaque white to the reflection in her eye before I finished her up as well.

Thank you so much for dropping by!

Dare 2B Artzy Video Inspiration

Hello friends and family. I am hopping on this fine January morning with a little creative inspiration for you from Dare 2B Artzy. Lots of D2BA news so let’s get to that first!

There is a brand new monthly challenge going on this month we are looking for inspiration from our favorite seasons. Make sure to enter for your chance to win some Dare 2B Artzy goodies.

There will be new products coming out! Later this month you will start seeing sneak peeks and they will all be available February 1st.

Dare 2B Artzy will be at Creativation later this month as well. If you are attending be sure to drop by booth 561 to wave hello!

OK I think that was the list of the items to be reported woosh! On with the art and inspiration. Today I have a video link to the latest video up over at Dare 2B Artzy’s YouTube channel hope you will have a little time to stop by and check it out.

One of my favorite things about the Dare 2B Artzy papers is the decorative trim on every piece. Might as well use those up as well right? This technique could be used to create other shapes and you could use paper scraps instead of the end tabs of the paper so a lot of versatility to this one.

Here is a look at the completed card (spoiler alert is is a holiday card):

Thanks so much for dropping by today, I hope your holiday season was full of laughter, family, friends and relaxation!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!
