Smile! Inspiration from Stamp Anniething

Hello friends and family! I am checking in on this fine hump day to share a little SAT inspiration! I am creating a fun card with this month’s amazing release. The stamp is Kimmie – So Jazzed and she is GREAT for practicing coloring long hair! Love her gorgeous long straight hair. I am coloring with my Copic markers to color her up and then I used a few simple patterned papers for a bright cheerful base. I also used this month’s word die Smile! I mean who can’t use a smile through the mail?!

Here is a look at Kimmie:

Here is a list of the colors I used:

E11, E13, E15, YR31, Y21, YR24, E33, YR04, YR07, BG02, BG05, C1, C3, C5, C7, C9, Colorless Blender. I created the quilted look on the purse just drawing short dashes with my C3 Copic.

Here is a look at the completed card: Yep clean and simple!

And one more close up:

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you are having time during the cold winter months to get crafty with your Stamp Anniething favorites!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!

New Product from Dare 2B Artzy

Don’t you just love when a favorite company comes out with new things to create with? I do and Dare 2B Artzy just shared a whole lot of new over the past weekend!

Hi friends I am sharing a little inspiration to chase away winter blues. It just got real here in the midwest as we got hit with our first real snow of the season and the weekend temperatures were in the single digits and “feels like” in the below zero ranges. I have been tucked in tight prepping for classes and creating cards with the fun new products from Dare 2B Artzy.

Not only is there new product in the store there is a brand new site so be patient as we work out all the glitches, also know that the new goodies are not quite shipping yet. They are all there to view and purchase, but not ready to package up for a wee bit longer.

Today I am sharing an image from the new Seas the Day collection, I am using the Aloha/Hibiscus Stamp Set and the beautiful new coordinating papers.

I adore a simple card as you know and the clean lines of the image and simple color palette just suite me to a tee. I have colored the image with Copic, including the background and added the sparkle with a little glitter. I can color right over the sentiment since the D2BA inks are Copic compatible and then trim the square and layer with a card base and patterned paper.

Here is a quick look at the flower:

The colors I used are Y00, Y21 and the Colorless Blender on the flower and B00 for the background, so super simple! Reminds me a bit of a Hawaiian shirt.

I hope you were lucky enough to catch the Dare 2B Artzy team at their booth in Phoenix, but if you were like me and huddles at home in the cold make sure you make time to stop at the new on-line store and see all that is new!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!

Merry Christmas 2018

Hello Friends! I am getting to share a brand new Stamp AnnieThing image with you today! I asked Ann a month or so ago if she would be willing to create a Nativity scene for all of us. I color one each year for Copic In The Craft Room and post it on Christmas and Ann said YES! ?

So today I am sharing a brand new digital image with you and I have a full video of Copic coloring to go along with it!

If you have not explored the new Stamp AnnieThing site yet you need to take a full tour, each time I come back I discover new things appearing and new categories to explore. (You know things I might NEED!) One of the new sections in the store is the digital stamp section. Now you are not re-directed to Etsy you get to stay right here for your digital images as well! You will recognize many of the images as the Facebook “Color With Me” images that we have been sharing each month. We have more of these in store for you for 2019! Today you will have access to this new digital and instead of live coloring I am including a link to my video.

Here is a look at my finished card:

And a close up so you can see Ann’s beautiful image:
