Beautiful Copic Florals

Marvelous Monday to you all! Wanted to share with you two of the newest image collections from Ann Corbiere-Scott Designs. The first is one of the newer additions to the Ann Corbiere-Scott digitals.

Here are the Copic Colors I used as well as a closer look of the blending!

Next is a new set that is in conjunction with Unity Stamp Co.

And here are the Copic colors as well as a close up. I did add a BV20 the background to get the modeled look you see in the final image above.

I have created videos of coloring both of the images and I am editing the two into a single viewing session. It should be live on the Copic In The Craft Room YouTube channel in a couple weeks, I will post here when live. Thank you as always for stopping by today!

Color a Rainbow

Had such a fun time playing with this new image from Ann Corbiere Scott Designs. This one is named after Ann! “Ann Marie” Here is a peek at all the colors I used then I will share a little of the process.

First I used the full rainbow of colors on the paint pans. I used one color in each, let them dry then added a second layer with just scribbles to add a little texture, I finished them with a little Colorless Blender to push the texture a little more.

I then used each of the colors to splatter ink over each of the pans. Do you remember how you flicked paint with a paint brush or tooth brush on a painting? I did the same thing, I flicked the brush end of my Copic against a folded piece of cardstock toward the art work. I also let the marker tip bump against the paper a few times.

I then used the grays to color the brush handle and the crimped metal. I also used the light grays to create the cast shadows around the watercolor pans and paint brush. The earth tones were used on the bristles.

I love a good play day with my markers and flicking ink all over certainly fit the bill! I built the “paint tray” up with stacked cardstock and put the whole thing on a slimline card base.

Thanks so much for stopping in to my little creative world. I am hoping everyone is staying healthy and happy and finding time to recharge these days!

Simple Beauty

Happy Monday to you. Bringing you some beauty to brighten the start of your day. Ann Corbiere-Scott continues to design stunning art that is just asking you to pull out your favorite mediums and get colorful.

This particular image is a newer addition to her shop. This one is called Grandma Chickie.

Copics were what jumped out of my bag for this one, but I am planning on widening my bag of tricks this year so keep watching for some color play time!

Not a lot to share today, just a smile! Thanks for stopping by!

Spinning a “Yarn”

Another Copic coloring adventure with Ann Corbiere-Scott Designs. I fell in love with this new image, Joyce Ann, from Ann. I like all of her designs but this one is so stinking fun to color! I decided to try for a multicolor yarn effect with some favorite colors. Surprisingly it was A LOT easier than it looks. And lucky for you I filmed it!

There is one more marker that is not photoed and that is a BV23. I used that one to give a little more dimension to the skien.

I pulled out buttons and twine to finish the slimline card. I can’t remember when I glue dotted a button on a card! I adore buttons. Anyway super fun! Check out the coloring in the real time video! Then hop over to Ann Corbiere-Scott Designs to pick up an image or two.

Week Three With Ann Corbiere-Scott Designs

Hello again. I am back with a third week guest designing for Ann Corbiere-Scott Designs. This week I am using one of Ann’s newer images, Aunt Mur. Copics are the star of the show again and I decided on a BOLD color combination for the petals.

From the center out are V17, V04 and V12, then from the edges inward are R59, R85 and R81. When coloring these I did about a quarter of the petals at a time in order to keep the ink fluid and blending easily.

Once I had the petals complete I added golden yellows to the center and on the background as well. The center is colored with YR21, YR23 and YR24 and the background is colored with Y21. I first colored in the background and after it dries I added dots with the same color. Once again completing the card was as simple as trimming the image, adding is on a colored base and a card base. For this card I also used one of the sentiments that Ann includes with all of her sets. A few drops of glossy accents on the petals as a finishing touch!

Thank you for stopping bye today! I will have another post next week with more lovely art from Ann.
