Day 3 Kraftin Kimmie Peeks

 Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the September Release

 at Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are ‘peeking’ a fabulous set 
from artist Michelle Houghton
 and it’s called…..

 

WOOLY WONDERLAND!

 

Ewe’ll have the coolest cards around with this fantastic mix and match set of wooly critters!

Super excited to be sharing my latest stamps with you this month. These little sheep are characters I have drawn for many years and to see them come to life in the creative hands of the Design Team has been super fun this month! So here is a closer look at the card I created for today! Did you notice that the bonus stamp this month is similar?! Yep they are made to go together!

  • I started by stamping my little sheep then masking him and adding the larger body. Because I used a no line technique I did not worry about masking when it came to the wiggly hat, I knew the colors would cover the light pink ink lines easily!
  • Then colored them both up using my Copic markers of course. (Little secret, there will be a video next Wednesday showing how I color the little wooly guy!)
The E7’s are used on the wool, the W’ are on their faces and legs as well as the E93, greens and reds for the hats, and then the blue violet, blue and Colorless Blender were used on the ground and sky.

Having fun keeping it simple as usual. I colored up one of the images of today’s Krafty Comeback set Candy Cane Kisses with a limited color pallet. I used a group of Copic reds and cool grays to color up the little boy and his friend.

I fussy cut this little image out, used a red Copic to fill in the interior spaces so they will match the background paper. I layered him with some pretty patterned papers and trim and all done!

Hey Hey! welcome back! I am playing with one of the images from the Forest Friends stamp set for this post. A few of you will have seen this card before at the spring retreat. Here is a close up of the little critters colored up with my Copics.

Here is a look at the background I created. I lightly sketched in pencil and then colored with my Copics.

Here is a look at the finished card. I am contemplating pulling the flowers off and finishing the lower right corner in a different way. Needs a couple buttons and maybe some twine 😉.

Beautiful Copic Florals

Marvelous Monday to you all! Wanted to share with you two of the newest image collections from Ann Corbiere-Scott Designs. The first is one of the newer additions to the Ann Corbiere-Scott digitals.

Here are the Copic Colors I used as well as a closer look of the blending!

Next is a new set that is in conjunction with Unity Stamp Co.

And here are the Copic colors as well as a close up. I did add a BV20 the background to get the modeled look you see in the final image above.

I have created videos of coloring both of the images and I am editing the two into a single viewing session. It should be live on the Copic In The Craft Room YouTube channel in a couple weeks, I will post here when live. Thank you as always for stopping by today!
