Starting with Copics and picked 3 of the little possums to work with! Used a pretty limited number of markers for these furry friends.
Possum Close Up #1
Possum Close Up #2
Possum Close Up #3
And then a fun slimline card with windows to pop the 3 possums. The third possum I used a Kraft knife to trim around the ears, head and two paws over on the right side. Then lifted those portions out and over the window.
Here is what the full card looks like!
Thank you for coming by today. I love these little possums they are so stinkin’ CUTE! They make me smile!

Come on back tomorrow for some more krafty fun and goodness!
I had a great time coloring up this sweet Krafty Komeback image and I am anxious to get back to coloring more! Here is a peek at the Copics I used.
I happened to have just purchased this fun set of papers and decided they were a perfect fit for this girl and her bear.
And here is a close up of the coloring! Notice the cheat, I colored the area between her legs and in the openings of the hair bow to match the paper behind. That way I do not have to cut those tiny, interior areas out.
Thanks as always for stopping by. I will be sharing all the new goodies over the next several days, so stay tuned and make sure to keep watching all the Design Team’s creations and inspirations!
Had such a fun time playing with this new image from Ann Corbiere Scott Designs. This one is named after Ann! “Ann Marie” Here is a peek at all the colors I used then I will share a little of the process.
First I used the full rainbow of colors on the paint pans. I used one color in each, let them dry then added a second layer with just scribbles to add a little texture, I finished them with a little Colorless Blender to push the texture a little more.
I then used each of the colors to splatter ink over each of the pans. Do you remember how you flicked paint with a paint brush or tooth brush on a painting? I did the same thing, I flicked the brush end of my Copic against a folded piece of cardstock toward the art work. I also let the marker tip bump against the paper a few times.
I then used the grays to color the brush handle and the crimped metal. I also used the light grays to create the cast shadows around the watercolor pans and paint brush. The earth tones were used on the bristles.
I love a good play day with my markers and flicking ink all over certainly fit the bill! I built the “paint tray” up with stacked cardstock and put the whole thing on a slimline card base.
Thanks so much for stopping in to my little creative world. I am hoping everyone is staying healthy and happy and finding time to recharge these days!

Lumber”jack” is the image I chose to start with. Both the characters on this set are super fun to play with and color up! I loved seeing all the ways the DT worked with the plaid shirt.
Managed to keep the marker count down ha ha! Copics of course With fun textures on the hat and beard.
Then I played with some patterned paper to create the card! Fun patterned papers for the ground and trees. So easy and quick. You could use stencils or die cuts to create a similar look!
So glad you are joining in the fun as we release the new January collection. The link below will get you to all the crafty goodness.
