Happy kraftin’!

I thought it would be fun to show off this month’s add on stamp for today’s hop. I created this little pumpkin image and wanted it to bey fun and simple to color. So I hope you have fun playing with it. I went for a classic orange pumpkin this time. Here are the Copic Colors that I used.

The goal for the whole scene to be bright and vibrant fall colors, a crisp clear day in the pumpkin patch so the colors reflect that. I use the Precious Pink Ink when stamping to create a no-line coloring effect.

To finish I paired the colored card front with bright bold patterned papers and a little twine, all tied up with a bow.

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for stopping by!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!

For now, check out all the creative goodness in today’s hop!

So on a cuteness scale where does this one go??!! Off the charts yes? I love these little squirrels and ALL the sentiments. So many of both to choose from. I was having a hard time picking one or two little critters so I decided to go for a slim line card that allowed me to get several them in all together. I added a pile of leaves as well.

I started by coloring up the squirrels, which I promptly turned into chipmunks. I couldn’t resist the challenge. We keep seeing them around here right now zipping across the road and trails. Here is a peek at all the Copic colors I used. One bundle is the chipmunk colors and the other is the sky and ground colors.

I figure you might like to see the little chipmunks a little closer too, so here is a couple shots of them.

I layered a Kraft card base a a couple patterned paper layers to finish the card.

Thanks for stopping by today! Tomorrow we have one last peek.

Have a Happy Colorful Day!

For now, check out all the beautiful projects in today’s hop!

So you actually got a look at the card I created in the banner above. I have been lucky enough to continue making a few stamp sets with Kraftin’ Kimmie and this is the next in the line up. I decided to use the maple leaf and go very detailed in the colors. I love fall leave and when they have the variation from yellows into reds. I found a leaf several years back and was coloring it with my Copic markers in a larger format so I decided to try to use similar colors for this smaller version.

Here is a look at the Copic colors that I used, the light green is the stem and veins, the blues are all in the sky and all of the other are on the leaf, mostly in dots.

Here you can take a look closer at the leaf;

As I usually do I left the card VERY simple so the coloring can shine through. Layered paper and cadrstock with a few small rhinestones to sparkle.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have time this week to get Krafty. Stay tuned for more fun with the remaining ing two days of the August sneak peeks and release!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!

New No-Line Copic Coloring Video

How about a little no-line coloring today? I have a new video over on the Copic In the Craft Room YouTube channel. The video is featuring this month’s add on image from Kraftin’ Kimmie. With a minimum purchase this cutie gets added to your loot.

You might have noticed that the finished image is slightly different. I did a second coloring and the patches on the kitty are a little different as well as an added background! Here is how the background happened: Here are the colors I used on the kitty and the mouse,

Here are the colors I used on the background:

I first sketched the background. I added a wood floor using one point perspective and added a rope rug in an elliptical shape. I started my sketch with pencil, went over the lines with a Copic Multiliner then after letting them dry erased the pencil lines.

Next was coloring the image I used the exact same steps on the kitty and the mouse as the video. (This is just stamped in black so it is not a no-line finished look.) The background has very basic coloring to let the image shine through.

And here is another peek at the finished card!

As always thank you so much for dropping by!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!
