Hello friends and family! I am popping in with a little hump day inspiration from Stamp AnnieThing. I figured this month might be the perfect time to bring a couple stamp out to color up to celebrate June with summer and weddings in full swing. 

I colored up the image with Copic markers and with two people I tried to keep the color palette pretty simple. You can add too many colors to an image and make it look a little too busy. So keeping colors closer to each other or coordinating through an image can help. In this case I made the couple look a little like my husband and myself so the skin and hair choices were determined by us!

The background is an alcohol ink blob I created a while back, the dots and that adorable charm are from Stamp AnnieThing!

Stamp AnnieThing June Release Day #3


 We are now entering into June and half the year is over!  Summer is upon us and kids will be home for vacation!  We wanted to get you in the mood for those warm summer days outside in the sun, so here is our adorable June release!

 Meet our newest boy stamp, Mitchell!  He is all ready to go right in and catch a wav at the beach!  How cute with his little shark tooths necklace???

I used Mitchell and colored him up with my Copic Markers.

Skin – E50, E21, E11, E13, E93, E04, BV23 Hair – Y00, Y21, E23, E25, E27 Trunks and surf board – B12, B14, B24, C1, C3, Colorless Blender

Then I used the new stencil being released this month and an old stencil that was released a year ago with the wave edge.

And here are a few looks at the final results:

Stamp AnnieThing June Release Day #2 Peaks


We are now entering into June and half the year is over!  Summer is upon us and kids will be home for vacation!  We wanted to get you in the mood for those warm summer days outside in the sun, so here is our adorable June release!
 
 Here is Lana, our little Hula Girl.... how cute would she be on an action wobble???

I had a great time getting another image this month Copic colored with no-line coloring. I always struggle a little getting the few remaining black areas black and I struggled on Lana a little but I love how she looks in her hula skirt and I chose to leave her barefoot ?

The flowers at the bottom that she is standing on are hand cut petals and centers and the leaves are from the palm tree die set from SAT that premiered last summer.

Here is a quick look at the colors I used.

Skin – E11, E13, E15, E93, E04 Hair – R85, R59, C5, C7, C9 Flowers – R21, R24, R29, Y32, Y38. Skirt – G24, G28, YG63

Stamp AnnieThing June Release Day #1 Peaks


 We are now entering into June and half the year is over!  Summer is upon us and kids will be home for vacation!  We wanted to get you in the mood for those warm summer days outside in the sun, so here is our adorable June release!


Here is Krissy, back again for some more summer fun!  This time she is just chillin’ and relaxing in her hammock! Today we also release a ADD ON shaker front die, Starburst and the Sunshine Word die.  We also have these adorable new stencil, Abstract Sun! `~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I cot coloring and went for a little no-line action with my Copics today. I added an older die set in fact they are from last summer. A palm tree to hold up Krissy. I used the sunburst die as well for a good break in the background AND the brand new Sunshine die to finish it up!

Stamp AnnieThing Grab and Go Release! Magical Celebrations!

 
 
     Hi and welcome to our Magical Celebrations Grab and Go! Release Hop!
 
 What is Grab and Go!?
 
 It's a well thought out (and jammed packed) themed subscription box!
 
 We pulled out all the bells and whistles for this Magical Celebrations inspired theme box to get us all in the mood for summer vacations and Disney related things!!

I started by coloring up two of the stamps from the box with my Copic Markers. I love Stamp AnnieThing images they are crazy fun to color skin and hair on!
I fussy cut them out and used the card base, patterned papers, Cardstock, enamel dots, twine and the mouse balloon die all from the Grab and Go box. I used some of the Shaker Basic Dies from SAT to create the shapes in the background.
I even had the double sided tape and the glue from the box to put it all together!
Here are these cuties close up!
Next I have another stamp all Copic colored, this time no-line!
Here is a close up of this cutie because she is about to get an accessory that covers up some of this hair and I am loving how it turned out ?
I decided to add a special feature on this cards I trimmed around the negative space left by the mouse balloon die added plastic film and small pieces of foam on the back.
I flipped the small clear balloon over and filled it with one of the shaker collections included in the box.
I used the card base, cardstocks, bench die, mouse balloon die, twine, mouse ear die, and bow. I did add a sketch pen and opaque white pen this time for the doodling.
I can’t forget I also used the double sided tape, glue and a sentiment stamp all from the box! Yup these kits have it all!
