Do you see how many ways todays stamp can be used? This little gal can grace all sorts of tags and cards for all types of celebrations! Gotta love an image with multiple uses!
I decided to create a tag/ornament using todays featured stamp, one of the dies and glitter from this month as well as the die base shape from last month. In true Michelle Houghton card making style this project got put together once, completely torn apart and then re-assembled!

Originally I had a white back on the wreath shaker portion and although I liked it I decided “ooooh wouldn’t this be even neater if you could see all the way through?!” So rip, tear, trough away, more cutting, taping, gluing and here you go:

I am glad I did it I would change one thing in future, I would back the image with a colored paper so when the ornament/tag swings around you do not see the back of my coloring ? I am really please how she turned out though. Here are the colors I used:

And here is a close up of just the coloring, you can just barely see in the photo but the holly was added to her head band and popped up:

Thank you so much for joining us this week for the December release!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!

Stamp AnnieThing December Release Day #2

Hi and welcome to our last release for 2018!
This release is “die” heavy and co-ordinate with last months Shaker Basic Dies!

`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

So today I had a lot of fun! I created a card using the amazing stamp! LOVE LOVE LOVE this image!
And then I created a tag with the new die, last months die and some of the new do-dads to create a shaker! Card first!

I had so much fun picking colors and coloring this image up, here is a look at what I used. I think you will be able to guess most, but if you are curious about the BV20 I almost always do snow with that and my Colorless Blender.

Here is a close up so you can see some of the details:

Then I created this tag, so easy, the layers are cardstock with tie, foam tape and filler then plastic and to top it off die cut front, YAY!

You’ll notice some of the snowflakes from the shaker tag also landed on the card, I couldn’t resist ?

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Remember one more day of reveals and all will be available in the store tomorrow!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!

`~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I created a card using only today’s stamp, but don’t worry! I am breaking out the dies and the sparkle over the next 2 days! I just could not resist! I LOVE Christmas and this time of year, even with all the craziness!
I colored up this gorgeous angel and put her in the night sky.

I used my Copics of course and a UNI Posca paint pen for the stars, here is a look at the colors I used. I grabbed mostly Earth Tones! The exception is the sky with one small group of blues. The E7’s are her dress the E5’s are the wings and the bow, E4’s are her hair and E0’s skin I did use a black Multilines on her eyes and moth since I had stamped in a sepia colored ink.

And a couple zoom ins so you can see her up close!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Two more days of reveals to come!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!

Gingerbread! Copic Coloring Tutorial

Hello  friends! Yesterday over on the Stamp AnnieThing Facebook fan page I did a live coloring tutorial of a new SAT digital image, Gingerbread!

You say you missed the live tutorial?! How can that be? I know you all have 7:30pm Eastern wide open on your planners, ha ha. Actually I know all of us are crazy busy and this time of year often gets even more frantic than normal. Luckily for ALL of us when we teach a live tutorial on Facebook it get’s recorded and now it is on the Facebook page for those small moments here and there that you manage to catch for yourself. I enjoy watching tutorials when I am doing other things like folding laundry or prepping dinner. I can’t color along, but I get lots of info just listening and watching when I can. Hope you will have the chance to take a peek later if you did not get to join me yesterday.

Here is a peek at the finished card.

One of the things that is unique about this particular SAT digital image is the size. Now with digital images you have control over the size so you can change this if you want, but if you use the Gingerbread! stamp as is it is a full card front. Yep, fills your 4.25 x 5.5 card front. Now because I use Copics I still place this on a card base, remember that Copics will bleed through your cardstock. You could also fussy cut her out and put her on a different colored base or patterned paper, but I like letting the coloring shine and this image just fits the card front so well it doesn’t need anything else.

Here is a close up of our gingerbread master. If you notice a little or a lot of shine I added Stickles on the gumdrops and Glossy Accents on the peppermint and lollipops.

Thanks for stopping by today! If you did not have time last night to check out the live FaceBook tutorial head over there when you have a chance to check out the coloring. And make sure to take a peek at all the fun digital images Ann has in the store!

Have a Happy Colorful Day!
